It is white dry wine made of Bayan Shira and used in the production of brandy spirits. It was one of the most preferred species in vine – growing and winemaking during the USSR period. At present, Bayan Shira is widely used in Azerbaijani winemaking. The amount of alcohol in the grape which is harvested in October is 10 – 13% h.
Bayan Shira which is distinguished among white – dry wines has a specific odor. It is possible to feel the taste of black pepper in the light wine. It is light straw colored. It is usually recommended to be drunk with light dishes. Vegetable salads and chicken dishes are an excellent choice.
